Lockdown: Duo Of Depression And Learning

As soon as the advent of Coronavirus, a novel capricious virus becomes more intense and in a spite of time the stack of positive cases shows rapidity in growth & so the number of deaths too. WHO declared the outbreak a Pandemic (spread across multiple countries) health problem.

This affliction compelled many countries to announce Lockdown on a massive scale to an unknown period of time unless there is a declination in positive cases.

As the news of lockdown waved on news channels and social media around the globe, a huge communication failure was noticed; by violating the SOPs (Standard Operating Measures) crowds of people rushed to grocery stores, pharmacy stores & other shops to grab the daily use stuff. Watching the whole scenario on media I was like experiencing a Hollywood apocalypse movie.
As far as I have seen the government employees are in great advantage during lockdown but sadly the peoples who are daily wage laborers, in transportation, construction, or in the maintenance industry have endured the massive deficit. Also in accordance with CNBC reports the ratio of job loss would be at peak in lockdown.
Compiling the mentioned drastic causes of lockdown would lead a common man in hunger, poverty, and eventually depression, that's really a worrying thing. To overcome this the developed countries assured the employees of the private sector to provide up to 80% salaries if they face effects on their job due to lockdown.

In developing countries such as my own country Pakistan, the daily wage workers suffered the most. To help these downtrodden people the Ruling Party awarded 12,000 PKR per person in a family through a Program, by which they can rule out hurdles of livelihood to some extent.

The education sector is another victim that has been trampled by corona. I am a final year medical student, it's been a crucial year for being a doctor but what happened the Corona appeared.

In the first half of the Pandemic, the world panicked so drastically & and now it seems that everyone has accustomed to it. People found many ways of livelihood by working from home.
During the lockdown, the internet is the lead supporter indeed. As every sector is using it positively to get something beneficial, completing the education sessions and ways of online earning. Many friends of mine also started an online business and some of them started giving tuitions at home.
Lockdown realized that nothing is permanent and what you need to survive is to be healthy and wealthy.

The time is near when we unprecedentedly celebrate 'A Universal Victory Day' on defeating the coronavirus by the dedication and sacrifices of Medical staff.

HASTA LA VISTA
